DEFINITIONS

Service(s): Any of the services provided by the Company, as listed under the “Services” menu on the Home page of this website.

Client: The main recipient of the Service(s)

Company: Love Is In The Hair By Sabrina

Agreement: The agreement between the Client and the Company, confirmed by email, for the provision of the Service(s)

Fee: The amount payable by the Client to the Company for the Service(s) in the Agreement

The Event: The occasion and venue where the Service(s) will be provided by the Company

Party: Persons in addition to the Client requiring Service(s) at the Event

BOOKING – WEDDING DAY HAIR

Wedding dates are only secured upon receipt of a non-refundable booking fee. For bookings outside of the UK. A quote will be provided for Sabrina’s services which will include details of the booking fee. Receipt of the booking fee confirms the Agreement and secures the Company’s availability for the Event on the agreed date and time for the agreed Fee.

If any changes are made to the booking (i.e. bridal party members are removed) Sabrina reserves the right to charge the fee as agreed when initial booking is made.

The booking fee is deducted from the final fee due. Enquiries for which a booking fee has not been paid are not confirmed and therefore availability cannot be guaranteed and an Agreement is not formally in place.

TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS WITHIN THE MAINLAND UK

An invoice for the balance of the Fee will be sent from the Company to the Client 6 weeks
before the date of the event unless the event is in less than a month’s time in which case it will
be sent immediately to secure the date.

Full payment of the balance of the Fee is required a month before the Event at the latest, if the Event is less than a month away full payment is required to secure the booking. There are no exceptions to this. 

Payment can be accepted via bank transfer or cash.

Bookings are only confirmed once the funds have cleared in the Company’s bank account.

TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS OUTSIDE OF THE MAINLAND UK

Travel expenses are incurred for services booked outside of the mainland UK, they are as follows:

  • Travel expenses to and/or parking at a train station, airport or port where Sabrina will be travelling from.
  • Return rail tickets, flights and/or boar tickets for Sabrina booked from/to convenient train stations, airports or ports.
  • All additional travel required at the destination related to the provision of services at the Event. The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option,

Road distances are calculated using an online journey planner and travel expenses will be agreed between the Company and Client as part of the Agreement.

ACCOMMODATION & SUBSISTENCE EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS WITHIN THE MAINLAND UK

Accommodation expenses are incurred for services provided within the mainland UK for bookings away from Sabrina’s address where she would have to leave her home address on or before 5 am. This will be discussed and agreed upon with the client during the booking process.

A surcharge will be charged for every 24 hours spent away from home for a booking. The company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option

ACCOMMODATION & SUBSISTENCE EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS OUTSIDE OF THE MAINLAND UK

For bookings outside of the mainland UK, accommodation expenses within the mainland UK will be charged for trains, flights or boats leaving the mainland UK Sabrina would have to leave her home address on or before 4:30am.

Additional accommodation expenses at the destination of the Event may also be incurred however all accommodation expenses will be discussed and agreed with the Client during the booking process.

£50 will be charged for subsistence for Sabrina for every 24 hours spent away from home for a booking.

The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option.

PAYMENT – HAIR

An invoice for the balance of the Fee will be sent from the Company to the Client 1 month before the date of the Event, unless the Event is in less than 2 weeks’ time in which case it will be sent immediately after the booking has been secured.

Full payment of the balance of the Fee is required 1 week before the Event at the latest, if the Event is less than 1 week away full payment is required to secure the booking. There are no exceptions to this.

Payment can be accepted via bank transfer or cash.

Bookings are only confirmed once the funds have cleared in the Company’s bank account.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Company of any potential issues such as but not limited to medical conditions, allergies, and/or sensitivities. Neither the Company nor Sabrina can be held liable for any condition that arises or loss incurred by the Client if the Client has not informed the Company and/or Sabrina of any known conditions as stated above, or of any conditions unknown to the Client at the time of the service.

The Company and/or Sabrina reserve the right to cancel the Agreement if the behaviour of the Client is deemed inappropriate and/or if the Client reports a condition that the Company and/or Sabrina deem as a risk to the Client’s health and well-being. In these cases any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service are non-refundable.

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITY

The Company will always endeavour to honour the Agreement to the best of its ability.

There may be circumstances beyond the control of the Company where Sabrina is unwell, delayed or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such a case the Company will inform the Client at its earliest convenience and endeavour to make favourable alternative arrangements if possible.

The Company reserves the right to offer the Client compensation in the event that it is not able to honour the Agreement. This is entirely dependent on the circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the Client.

CANCELLATIONS

Unless specified differently on the webpage for the service:

  • Payments made to the Company for a service that is subsequently cancelled by the Company will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation;
  • Deposit payments are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation by the client, this is due to demand on wedding dates and having to turn other business away

Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by the Company and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the Client to the Company for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.

PHOTOGRAPHY & USE OF IMAGES

The Company will take pictures and videos of hairstyles for reference and for social media/advertising purposes. The client consents to their pictures being used in this capacity when bookings are made. If pictures are not to be taken or used in this capacity it is the clients responsibility to inform the company. 

CHANGES TO SERVICES AND PRICES

Prices for products and services are subject to change without notice.

The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue a service (or any part or content thereof) at any time without notice.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT DETAILS

Maximum time allocation for trials: the maximum time that Sabrina can spend on any one trial is 2 hours per booking. Any additional time required will have to be booked as a repeat trial.

Repeat trials: If a second hair trial is requested, the same fee applies as for the first trial.

Single bride supplement andminimum booking sizes for bridal services: Extra charges are applicable for single bride bookings, and there are minimum booking sizes for bridal services for certain times/distances. Sabrina’s quotes will always include this.

Assistants: If Sabrina deems it necessary for one of her assistants to be used or one is requested then an additional surcharge will be required to secure the assistant for the Event.
